Here are most of the
differences between IRental and IVideo
IRental process is nearly
identical to IVideo very fast and efficient.
IRental is our Premier RMS
rental solution, IVideo is our legacy solution which will no
longer be updated.
Main differences - IRental:
1.
1.)Uses serial numbers for Rental items as opposed to
individual itemlookupcodes saving lookup time and database size.
2.2.)
Status Bar is no longer used. Rental information is
available on button image.
3.3.)
Rental details button is not longer used. Details are
available from button image.
4.4.)
Return button is no longer used as returns can be processed
from any rental button simply by scanning.
5.5.)
Manual return is now an option from the Details form.

6.) Rental item comments is no longer used to store
rental info. Thus this RMS feature is free for clerk to utilize
for internal purposes.

7.)Bin Location Manager and Multi Input Tool are included as
opposed to additional add-ons.
8.8.)IRental is slated for any new features as IVideo is
considered at end of life.
9.9.)Rental buttons do not carry license code thus easier
maintenance of IRental.
10.10.)No more ‘Types’ of rental buttons i.e. Standard, Buy x
get y, Hardware. One form with any and all options for
greater range of buttons to create.

Pricing on any button can be forced or calculation of
price,pricea, priceb, pricec.
